Educational and Postgraduate Study Opportunities, For an Ophthalmology Resident in Pakistan

Ophthalmology postgraduate training in Pakistan has undergone a significant reforms and modifications the last one decade. There are currently two categories of ophthalmology courses i.e. year ofMCPS or DOMS four FCPS MS. Among these membership/ fellowship programs offered by College Physicians Surgeons (CPSP) while Diplomas Master degree Medical Universities. PM&DC former medical licensing body categorized as level- level-qualifications, which differ scale appointment promotion preference. Recently Commission (PMC), successor PM&DC, qualifications into additional, alternative qualifications.1
 A resident ophthalmologist after starting (PG) can also avail additional opportunities besides continuing with course he/she is admitted.
